TGIF!  What a week :)  This dreary weather has us all wanting to nap!

Our Bible lesson this week was from Luke 1:31 - An Angel Visits Mary

"You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus."

Our curriculum began with the Letter M, the Number 9, the Color Black and the Shape Star.  

Our curriculum schedule is as follows:  Our class letter will be new weekly.   Our class number, color and shape will change every two weeks. 

We will continue to build and work on our fine motor skills daily.  It's important to build a strong foundation and strengthen those cute hand and finger muscles, so that they can correctly hold a crayon, scissors and even press down on the worksheets.  We like to switch between squeezing a soft ball, using a hole puncher, a small stapler and crinkling up a sheet of paper.  We get pretty creative to make sure were strengthening all of their little muscles :)

Weekly work is sent home in their Friday folders.  If they are part time or were absent, they will receive blank work pages.  We encourage these to be completed at home.  No need to return to school.  Please empty your child's folder and return on Mondays.
